• Before first use, we suggest applying a protective spray to protect the beautiful finish. (Always test the protective product on a small surface before using it to determine possible changes in colour or texture)
• Beware not to scratch or rub your product against abrasive surfaces
• As the leathers have a natural treatment, they must be protected from humidity. Keep them away from water or from any other liquid that could alter the leather's texture or colour. If your product does get wet, you can dab it dry with a light-coloured and absorbent cloth.
• Avoid direct exposure to sunlight, keep your product away from any direct source of heat (radiators, car interiors overheated by the sun, etc).
• Avoid contact with greasy substances, cosmetics, perfume, and hydro alcoholic solutions, as well as any material (magazines, other leathers, etc.) that may transfer their coloured pigments onto the product.
• To protect your product when you are not using it, store it in the cotton La&Bel dust bag.

Pirarucu fish leather is sourced in Brazil from a supplier that maintains international sanitary regulations and well-being practices, helping protect the fish, fishermen families and nature itself. The tanning uses zero heavy chemicals and is fully environmentally safe. The production is controlled by IBAMA, and every Pirarucu skin will be certified by a CITES.
