Being aware of our own privileged lives, we want to give something back to our communities and support those who are less fortunate. For every bag or accessory we sell, we donate a percentage of our net proceeds to a charity that supports girls and women. In this way, we hope that they will have the opportunity to develop themselves and become empowered.

We have chosen to support The Rotonda.

The Wissel began in 1981 as a residential institution for extremely vulnerable girls and has since grown into a counselling network for vulnerable youth and young families with several sub-activities. One of them, the Rotonda, guides 25 girls between 14 and 25 years old in the city centre of Leuven. These girls stay in the Rotonda residence, at home or independently but with the necessary supervision. There is always a search for ways to reconnect the girls with themselves, their family members and their environment.

The Wissel is a private initiative that receives funding for recognized assistance from the Flemish Community. Despite the great efforts and flexibility of its staff and the commitment of many volunteers, the choice for the specific target group requires additional guidance and special working methods. This means that the usual funding is structurally insufficient. 

We hope to contribute this way to a better future for these girls and young women.
